As a result of<br \/>\nthis chance meeting in the market place there came about a three weeks’<br \/>\nconference at the Gilboa camp between the apostles of Jesus and the apostles<br \/>\nof John, for John had recently appointed twelve of his leaders to be apostles,<br \/>\nfollowing the precedent of Jesus. For<br \/>\nthree weeks these twenty-four men were in session three times a day and<br \/>\nfor six days each week. The first week Jesus mingled with them between<br \/>\ntheir forenoon, afternoon, and evening sessions. They wanted the Master<br \/>\nto meet with them and preside over their joint deliberations, but he steadfastly<br \/>\nrefused to participate in their discussions, though he did consent to<br \/>\nspeak to them on three occasions.
